Use the interactive Globe below to explore Meteorite and there data set
This final project with data provided by the Nasa public data center shows the Meteorite that have fallen and landed on earth A meteorite is specifically a meteor that makes it through the atmosphere of a planet or moon. In this case, our data looks at meteorites that break the earth's atmosphere.
This visualization is to analyze the meteorite and there landing from the past 220 pluss years,
to try and identify patterns in their occurrences. Meteorites are solid pieces of debris from objects that originate in outer
space and have passed through our atmosphere. This visualization helps display the meteorite landings
over time.
Note: Only recordered meteorite landings are shown based on the Nasa public data base. Meteorite landing clusters that landed at the same location and at the same time have been filtered to appear as a single landing for accuracy and visibility.
